About us

This website is run by George Blew, a sole trader trading as Sea Sponge Co., 173 Main Road, Longfield, Kent, DA3 7PJ, United Kingdom. Email: seaspongeco@gmail.com. "We", "us" and "our" mean Sea Sponge Co.

These terms

These terms apply to every order you place on seaspongeco.com. Please read them, along with our Shipping policy, Return and refund policy and Privacy policy, before you order. By placing an order you agree to them.

Our products

Our sponges are natural products. Each one is a different shape, colour and texture, so the sponge you receive won't look exactly like the photos. We measure every sponge across its widest point and the one you receive will be within the size range you choose. Sponges are not medical products.

Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling. We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged. Delivery costs are shown at checkout before you pay. We take payment when you place your order. If we make an obvious pricing mistake, we'll contact you before dispatching and you can cancel for a full refund.

Your order

Our contract with you starts when we email to confirm your order. If we can't fulfil an order, for example because an item has sold out, we'll let you know and refund you in full.

Delivery

We deliver to UK addresses only. See our Shipping policy for costs and timings.

Cancellations and returns

You have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving your order. See our Return and refund policy for how this works, including the hygiene exception for used sponges. This doesn't affect your statutory rights.

Our responsibility to you

We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We're not responsible for losses that aren't foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, or affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are the ones on this page when you placed it.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
